Flexible Billing
I am flexible, and will take cases on with different fee arrangements, including straight hourly billing; contingency fee only; split part hourly, part contingency; reduced hourly billing, sometimes with and other times without a result component; and pro bono.
Engagement Requirements
As required in Massachusetts, all legal engagements are in writing, and signed by me and the Client(s), with copies provided to the Client(s).
Pro Bono Publico Work
As any Civic minded lawyer does, I take on at no charge Pro Bono Publico work (For the Good of the Public), most recently on Martha’s Vineyard the formation of the Martha’s Vineyard Diversity Coalition Charitable Trust. I have been an Officer of Non-Profits, including as president, treasurer, legal counsel, and board member, and hope to continue to serve in these capacities.
